The Month Of March #Orion
Engineering and Manufacturing
We wanted to highlight some of the results achieved by our Reading team in March
- We supported 64 number of people in finding their new permanent job opportunity.
- We supplied 84 number of contractors to our clients to ensure specialist skills were deployed and project deliverables met.
- We met with 37 new companies who are looking for a true talent solutions partner to source the best talent in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector for their businesses.
- Our deep understanding of our markets, ability to understand our clients needs and sourcing competencies meant for every vacancy we filled, our clients received a maximum of 5 candidate profiles.
- We were engaged in more exclusive partnerships than any other month showing clients are looking for niche sector experts with modern talent solutions to source their number 1 asset.
We rolled out another successful Manufacturing Talent 4.0 solution which enables our clients to design and build a bespoke training academy, together with a fully comprehensive and bespoke talent attraction campaign showcasing the job opportunity to attract individuals from outside of the manufacturing sector. In March, we held an assessment day with the outcome of our client hiring 7 candidates.
The dedication and hard work Lucy Lewis put behind Manufacturing Talent 4.0 was extremely extensive which leads us to announce that last month, she was promoted from Senior Business Development Manager to Regional Sales Manager - South. Lucy has an obvious passion for her role and ensuring the gap between growth in the industry and the lack of candidates to undertake the roles is reduced.
Our leadership team attended an RDLC event expertly hosted by Trevor Pinder, the subject matter being Learning and Development. The team stepped away from the event with new skills and knowledge to benefit the individuals within Orion to benefit their career development.
All in all, it’s been another busy month and with new financial years starting, changes to minimum wage and an unabating workflow we see no change in April.
International Women's Day
It’s International Women’s Day. So what better day to introduce the women at Orion? We want to thank the Women who work hard every day to achieve their goals.
