We are a market leader in special purpose vehicles, and we’re seeking an experienced Mobile Service Technician to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who thrives in a field-based role and enjoys working independently.

As a Mobile Service Technician, you’ll travel to customer sites to carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on specialist vehicles and equipment. You’ll act as the face of our service operation, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and exceptional customer service.

• Attend customer sites as a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair special purpose vehicles.
• Carry out repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Manage your own workload and communicate updates clearly with the Service Team.
• Complete all service sheets, job cards, and documentation accurately as part of the Mobile Service Technician role.
• Promote parts and services where appropriate.
• Maintain a professional image at all times, including company van cleanliness and on-site behaviour.

• Qualified mechanic (HGV, plant, forklift, military engineering, or automotive).
• Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and diagnostic procedures.
• Background working with special purpose vehicles, mobile plant, or forklifts highly beneficial.
• Excellent customer service skills essential for a Mobile Service Technician.
• Knowledge of diesel and electric engines.
• Reasonably clean driving licence required.
• Willingness to travel for field service work regularly.
