Welder - Contract

Location: Farnborough
Pay: £22 per hour PAYE / £30 per hour Umbrella
Hours:

• Mon–Thurs: 8:00am – 4:45pm
• Fri: 8:00am – 1:00pm

Join a leading engineering company in Farnborough, working on high‑quality, precision projects in a supportive and well‑equipped workshop.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Welding thin‑gauge aluminium (0.5mm – 2mm)
• Interpreting and working from technical engineering drawings
• Inspecting your own work to ensure accuracy and quality
• Working independently and meeting required timeframes
• Setting up welding jigs and preparing workpieces

To be considered for this Welder position, you will need:

• 4 years’ experience in welding, with strong focus on thin‑gauge aluminium
• Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to work accurately and independently
• Strong understanding of welding processes, quality standards, and workshop safety
