Telehandler

Job Opportunity: Telehandler Driver (External Licence Required)
Location: Tilbury
Start Date: 29th September 2025
Duration: 6 Month Contract

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Telehandler Driver to support site operations and commissioning activities. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and a proactive attitude.

• Safe and efficient operation of a standard telehandler (not a 360 slew)
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
• Lifting and positioning steelwork and other heavy items
• Assisting commissioning teams with material movement and logistics
• Supporting general site activities as an all-rounder
• Daily machine checks and basic maintenance reporting
• Manoeuvring in tight spaces and around active work zones
• Coordinating with site supervisors and trades to ensure timely lifts
• Adhering to site safety protocols and traffic management plans
• you will be asked to do adhoc jobs around site to, you will not just be in the telehandler all day. this could include cleaning the Canteen or general labouring.

• Valid external Telehandler licence
• Experience operating telehandlers on busy construction or industrial sites
• Good understanding of load charts, lift plans, and safe lifting practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and awareness of site safety
