Sales Engineer Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Sales Engineer Package:

• 23 day holiday allowance bank holidays

Sales Engineer Shifts: Monday – Friday: core hours – day shifts.

Orion are currently working with a fast-paced manufacturing company based in Telford who are looking for an internal Sales Engineer to join the team who thrives on turning customer requirements into winning quotes and tailored solutions.

Sales Engineer Roles & Responsibilities:

• Convert customer drawings into feasible, cost-effective quotes
• Liaise with clients to deliver top-tier service and technical support
• Prepare accurate proposals using Excel and quotation software (Radquote experience a plus)
• Collaborate with engineering once deals are approved
• Balance inbound/outbound sales with a focus on new business growth

Sales Engineer required Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in technical sales
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience in technical sales, ideally within sheet metal
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management
• Customer-first mindset and a knack for building relationships
