MultiSkilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Reading
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

An established industrial services business is seeking a Multi - Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a great opportunity to join a fast paced production environment where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving plant performance.

Key Responsibilities for this Maintenance Engineer Role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Diagnose and repair faults quickly and safely, minimising production downtime.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding down to component level.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and communicate updates to Production.
• Support ongoing improvements to plant, machinery and maintenance processes.

Experience & Qualifications needed for this Maintenance Engineer Role:

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds).
• Strong experience across both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Good understanding of electrical installation and maintenance.
• Confident with componentlevel fault finding.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and steam systems.
