Location: Swindon

We’re looking for a skilled Manual Machinist with welding experience to step into a key role within our small, friendly engineering team.

You’ll be working within a small team and supporting a wide range of machining and fabrication tasks. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and being the go‑to person for hands‑on engineering, this is a great fit.

• Manual machining using manual lathes and manual mills

• TIG welding of stainless steel (training available if needed)

• Occasional brazing and general fabrication work

• Producing high‑quality, accurate components for internal use

• Working collaboratively with a small, supportive team

• Essential: Strong manual machining experience (Milling and turning)

• Desirable: Any welding experience (TIG is ideal but not essential)

• Someone comfortable being the sole machinist on site

• A practical, hands‑on engineer who enjoys problem‑solving

• Willingness to learn and upskill where needed

• £43,000 – £46,000 salary

• Days only

• 9‑day fortnight (07:30 – 16:20)

• 25 days holiday bank holidays
