Job title: Logistics Operative
Location: Abingdon
Pay rate: Up to £16 per hour PAYE
Hours: Core hours are 9am to 6pm, however, there may be flex to work 8am to 5pm (40 hours per week)
Job type: Initial 6 month contract with potential of extension/permanent
The role of Logistics Operative:
- Booking of couriers
- Ensuring all export paperwork is completed
- Goods in and out
- Use of SAP
- Inventory control and regular stock takes
- Working closely with purchasing and engineers
The Logistics Operative should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience booking couriers and generating export paperwork
- Experience working within stores environment would be beneficial
- Computer literate
- Good attitude and reliable
