Fabricator

Location: West Midlands
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (40 hours/week occasional overtime)
Pay: £15-£17 per hour based on experience

Are you a skilled Metal Fabricator who thrives on precision and problem-solving? Join a fast-paced manufacturing team working on bespoke, large-scale engineering projects.

As a Metal Fabricator, you will:

• Interpret detailed metal and engineering drawings
• Fabricate with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
• Perform tack welding and MIG welding to a high standard
• Operate machinery including Guillotine, Brakepress, and Overhead Crane
• Inspect work for defects and report non-conformities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace
• Deliver work on time and to specification

• Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator (steel and aluminium)
• Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols
• MIG welding proficiency
• Strong communication and independent working skills

• Active role involving lifting, climbing, balancing, and handling materials
• Daily use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection
