Evening Shift Supervisor – Manufacturing

Pay: £17.60 – £19.25 per hour (including 18% evening shift uplift)

Annual Salary: £37,752 – £41,291

Shift: 13:45 – 22:00, Monday to Friday

Hours: 41.25 per week

Location: Near Battle (own transport required)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Evening Shift Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing team in a brand-new workshop environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in welding and team leadership who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player with strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proactive “can-do” attitude.

Key Responsibilities as a Shift Supervisor

• Work closely with the Production Team Leader to prioritise workflow.
• Manage and collect timesheets for processing.
• Ensure production team members have the tools and resources needed to complete tasks.
• Review and sign off work against issued drawings.
• Hold team members accountable for daily output targets.
• Keep the workshop floor clear and organised.
• Support production by assisting with welding tasks when needed.

Requirements as a Shift Supervisor

• Minimum 1 year of staff management experience.
• Experience with engineering drawings.
• MIG welding and steel work experience would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
