Job Title: Dispatch Coordinator
Location: Fareham
Pay: £13.50 per hour (PAYE) or £18.01 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:00pm. Friday: 7:00am–12:00pm
Role Overview of the Dispatch Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organised Dispatch Coordinator. In this role, you will ensure that products manufactured and shipped by the company arrive at our customers on time and in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritise daily dispatch operations to meet shipping deadlines
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product availability
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation and MRP records
- Arrange UK and international shipments, including courier bookings and local deliveries
- Monitor packaging materials and consumables, obtaining quotes when needed
- Resolve customs/export issues and maintain high standards in the dispatch area
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a dispatch environment
- Familiarity with work orders, sales orders, and MRP systems
- Experience raising shipping documents
Key Skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good IT skills (Excel, Word, MRP systems)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
