Control Systems Engineer

We are working with a specialist in automated material handling and warehouse logistic solutions. With an extensive history of engineering excellence, they pride themselves on delivering effective and efficient bespoke solutions from concept to installation.

About the Control Systems Engineer Role

You will lead your own projects, writing and testing PLC software for various projects.

The Control System Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Writing PLC code from scratch, providing innovative solutions daily.
  • Adaptation and maintenance of current PLC and HMI's.
  • Work closely with the design team to produce documentation and liaise with clients.
  • Commission different projects, including software testing.
  • Be able to work away 30-40% of the time throughout the UK.

The Control Systems Engineer will need:

  • Experience working in an automated environment/ on automated machinery.
  • Previous skills in writing PLC code from scratch.
  • A relevant qualification or degree in engineering.
  • Prior use of AutoCAD.
