Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist – Punch Press (Night Shift, Telford)
Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a rewarding night shift role? A leading precision engineering company based in Telford is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC punch press machinery and join their dynamic team.
Shift Details:- 4 x 10.5-hour shifts per week
- Monday to Thursday: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
- Thursday night shift finishes at 2:00 AM
- Overtime available and encouraged
- Competitive hourly rate of £17.10
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates

- Set up and operate CNC punch press machinery to produce precision metal components
- Work with mild steel as standard, with occasional stainless steel and aluminium
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining
- Make adjustments to CNC programs and machine settings as required
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure components meet required tolerances
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (setting and operating essential)
- Experience operating CNC punch press machinery (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
