Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £15 an hour - £19.19 an hour (Depending on experience)
**Contract, or temp to perm, or permanent available**
A great opportunity to join a fantastic team within multiple sectors as a CNC Machinist. You’ll play a key role in working on one-off and small batch projects, this is a hands on position which will involve online programming which you must have experience in for this CNC Machinist role.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Set, operate and programming of CNC Mazak machines (3 and 4 axis machines) (Online)
- Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
- Quality measuring devices experience (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
CNC Machinist Experience:
- Around five years’ experience machining complex components
- Skilled with Mazak controls desirable but would welcome other control packages
- Offline CAD/CAM programming (Fusion 360 Desirable)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
