Build Technician

Telford Permanent, Full-Time Working Hours: Day Shift

· Monday–Thursday: 08:30–17:15

· Friday: 08:00–12:30

· Total: 37.5 hours per week

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Build Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. You’ll receive full training and support to get hands-on with exciting, high-precision projects. This role centres around the mechanical and electrical build of advanced measurement machines, jigs, and fixtures. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, fitters, and wiremen to bring systems to life, from individual components to fully assembled products.

Key Responsibilities

· Assemble mechanical and electrical components for precision engineering systems

· Carry out bench fitting and mechanical build tasks

· Diagnose and resolve faults in machinery during the build process

Qualifications & Experience

· Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent time-served experience

· HNC qualification is a plus

· Proven background in mechanical/electrical fitting within manufacturing or engineering

· Experience in automation environments

· Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
