Hourly Rate: £14 raising to £15 after 3 months

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am -11:00am

About the Assembler :

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-focused Assembler to join a dynamic and fast-paced workshop team. This hands-on role involves assembling, testing, and preparing technical products for dispatch, ensuring they meet both customer specifications and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Assembler :

• Assemble and disassemble products following workshop guidelines.
• Conduct component and assembly testing, ensuring accurate documentation of results.
• Maintain work orders and complete relevant test records.
• Assist with quality control checks and manage component picking and issuing.
• Allocate and track product identification numbers.
• Receive and inspect deliveries, verifying against packing lists.
• Pack, label, and dispatch products using internal IT systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile for the Assembler:

• Experience in a workshop, production, or assembly setting.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Organised with good documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Confident using IT systems for inventory and dispatch processes.
• Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player.
