Service Engineer (North)

The company has been established for over 40 years and has evolved from designing and manufacturing a single product to its position today as a leading UK manufacturer and worldwide supplier of bespoke machinery and systems.

As the field service engineer, you will be required to carry out installation, repairs, services, and breakdown of high-quality machinery and equipment working with blue chip companies in the UK and overseas. You will become a subject expert on all machinery, including the installation of new equipment, support clients with ongoing technical changes and issues, and additionally provide training to the client.

What we would like from the Field Service Engineer:

• Ideally 5 years' experience working in Field Service work
• An engineering qualification is preferable
• An enthusiasm for engineering and customer service
• Full driving licence
• Understanding of PLC and PC based control hardware and software
• Cover one Saturday & Sunday per month for customer support and for any potential breakdowns

• Base salary of £38k doe (ote £45k to £50k)
• 24 days annual leave
