Project CAD Manager

Salary: £42,000

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Telford, which is recruiting for a Project CAD Manager.

The company manufactures switchgears so the ideal candidate for the role will have a strong knowledge in the design of switchgears and control systems.

Project CAD Manager

  • The successful applicant will require a sound knowledge of switchgears
  • Must be able to read, interpret & design CAD schematics from customer specifications.
  • Customer liaison '' Experience being that key point of contact to a customer throughout a project's journey.
  • Strong experience using AutoCAD
  • Stakeholder management - Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder's needs and requirements continuously in view.

Project CAD Manager responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain all implementation processes, manage implementation lifecycle, co-ordinate documentation when needed.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues when the need arises and escalating appropriately as needed.
  • Maintain timelines and target dates in the Project Management Database.
  • Organise and facilitate project planning, daily meetings, reviews, retrospectives and client meets.
  • Ensure the business is practicing the core principles of collaboration, prioritisation, team accountability and visibility.
  • Work well in a team or alone.
