This is a Fixed Term Contract (12 months) with the possibility of turning permanent.

Orion is working with a market leader in the manufacturing industry that specialises in developing advanced materials for a variety of applications, including electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

They are seeking a dedicated Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join their innovative team working on cutting-edge technology with potential global impact. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining procurement and logistics databases, supporting capital projects, assisting with end-to-end logistics processes, and executing operational procurement in line with company procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities of the Procurement & Logistics Coordinator

• Processing and raising purchase orders within their ERP system (NetSuite).
• Administering supplier setup and maintenance in ERP.
• Monitoring stock levels of critical spares and reordering as needed.
• Supporting the operations team in sourcing goods and services.
• Receiving and logging goods physically and in ERP.
• identifying and achieving cost savings.
• Assisting colleagues within the procurement team with administrative tasks.

Requirements of the Procurement & Logistics Coordinator

• Minimum of 2 years relevant industrial experience in procurement.
• Proven experience in order placement and expediting.
• Experience organising logistics and managing supply chains.
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems.
• Supporting negotiations and supplier management.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on data accuracy and timeliness.
