Sales Order Administration

Site based role, Monday – Friday working (non-shift)

Ongoing training and development coupled with 5% matched pension holiday ( 8 days bank holidays)

Great opportunity for a talented Operations & Sales Administrator to grow and expand their skills in a successful and established yet expanding business as a result of increased sales and projects.

Working in their smart facility as part of a close-knit team, this will be an opportunity to undertake a varied role to supporting the sales and customer fulfillment team to ensure the accurate processing of sales orders and also to ensure that customers are kept informed throughout the full project life-cycle.

As Sales & Operations Administrator, you will be given training and evelopment but you will need to have both good coordination/administration skills coupled with confident telephone skills.

Key accountabilities as Operations & Sales Administrator / Sales Order Administrator include:

  • Working with sales and supply chain to accurately place sales orders on the CRM
  • Co-ordinating new order estimated delivery, compiling customer emails and following up on anticipated delivery dates.
  • Supporting customers throughout their journey with the business providing first-class customer service and keeping them updated on order progress.
  • Enabling full and comprehensive visibility of order status & progress by inputting into supporting documentation.
  • Working with the operations team to provide production status updates to the Customer Fulfilment Manager.
  • General administrative support and co-ordination activities to the teams as required.

To succeed in this interesting role you will need to be a real team player coupled with:

  • Some prior experience supporting varied administration duties within a fast paced environment (Ideally manufacturing , production, logistics or related environment although not essential)
  • Prior Sales Order processing experience ideal
  • For this role, we are looking for someone who is pro-active with excellent communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work with a wide range of people.
  • Experience with a CRM such as salesforce or similar or any exposure to or ERP / MRP systems is also desirable although full training can be given.
