We are seeking a skilled Offline Programmer to join our team and play a pivotal role in our CNC machining operations. As an Offline Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to ensure the efficient and accurate production of precision parts and components. You will work closely with our CNC operators and production team to translate engineering drawings and specifications into machine-readable code. This role is critical in maintaining the quality and productivity of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design models to create CNC programs that meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling setups, and machining parameters.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot machining issues, such as tool wear, chip evacuation problems, and machine tool errors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a CNC programmer, with a strong background in precision machining.
In-depth knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and CNC machine tool operations.
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot machining issues.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
