Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. You'll be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the supply chain.
The role will initially be for a 6 month period, there is a possibility for the role to become permanent but this does entirely depend on the needs of the business. In order to consider this role you must be able to start within 2 weeks and have the ability to be on site 5 days per week (i.e. within a comfortable commuting distance).
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and track shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and carriers to optimize logistics processes.
- Maintain accurate records and handle documentation for compliance.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
