CNC Grinder Job Summary

I am looking for an experienced Manual / CNC Grinder to join the team at our facility based in the Wolverhampton area. we're focused on the customer and for us this means designing complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high profile.

CNC Grinder Responsibilities Include

• Experience operating, setting Manual CNC Machines
• Capability of machining exotic and hardened materials
• Carry out own 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation
• Precision manual land grinding, working to achieve limits to 0.00005"
• Able to set and run multiple machine / processes.
• 3 shift patterns with preference of night shift working.

CNC Grinder Key Skills and experience:

• Mate grinding experience required
• Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing role
• Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling
• Attention to detail and accuracy and process improvement
• Using the relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerance
• This role will require the individual to work a shift pattern, including nights and overtime when requested.
• The role requires the candidate to be self-certified and a quality stamp holder after qualifying period.
