Christmas Party - Bath 2017

Posted: Dec 04, 2017

We can happily tick the box on another memorable Christmas party.

This year, we kept it more local than previous years, and reserved our place at the Roman Baths for our 2017 office Christmas party.

On Friday, we continued our tradition and travelled down to Bath in full fancy-dress attire – this year’s theme, Movies.

Everyone put in a huge amount effort with their costumes, and we saw outfits like; Pink Ladies from Grease, Wilson the ball from Castaway, The Mask, Mary Poppins and many more.

Once we arrived, we all had a fun time getting into the Christmas spirit, seeing the sites and visiting the pubs and bars of Bath in our costumes.

After a fun filled day, it was time to get ready for our annual awards ceremony.

Paul Ridley, does a fantastic job of hosting the event and always manages to make everyone laugh from start to finish.

This year our trophies were even more prestigious and will have pride of place in our trophy cabinet.

The winners of these dazzling trophies are;

  • BEST NEWCOMER – Tom Johnson

  • BEST TEAM SPIRIT – Contracts Team

  • MOST IMPROVED EMPLOYEE – Oliver Johnston

EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR – Ross Benham (4th Year in a row)

It was also announced that our Employee of the Month for November is Kay Wren, our Office and Quality Manager. Kay was chosen for the award for her recent outstanding success with our BSI, ISO 9001:2015 audit.

After our awards ceremony we made our way to the Roman Baths, where we had drinks on arrival and took in the spectacular views of the natural baths whilst waiting to be seated for our three-course meal in the Pump Room of the venue.

After this we danced the night away to the eclectic music from the Live band.

This was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of a successful year and will definatly go down in the memory books.
