Ross Benham Director
Hobby: As sad as it sounds I don’t really have a hobby. I’m interested in many different thing’s and will try my hand at anything that comes my way but generally I enjoy spending time with friends and family and doing as many different thing’s as possible.
Restaurant: I’ve definitely matured my palette from my earlier years and have had some excellent dining experiences over the years including Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck but if I had to choose one it would have to be Aqua Kyoto in London. Not purely for the food although it is excellent but also for the atmosphere as it has a great vibe that sets you up nicely for an evening out.
Holiday location: I’ve been very fortunate in that I’ve been to many different worldwide destinations and therefore it’s very difficult to compare a skiing holiday with a summer holiday and a city break with a cultural tour. If however I was pushed to make a decision, I would at this present time say Dubai. I went there for my honeymoon and have gone back every year since and am already booked to go again this December.
Sport: It used to be football, I got injured doing that and had to stop. It was then the gym, I got injured doing that and had to stop. Common theme with me, injury prone
Food: I’ve definitely got a taste for good food and am open to most dishes put in front of me but I would have to say a staple go to dinner whether at home or at a restaurant would be steak so I’m going with steak and all the extras that comes with it.
Film: Most recent favourite would be The Wolf of Wall Street, my favourite of all time is Gladiator and I’m also a sucker for The Notebook.
What you do in your spare time: Lots of different thing’s, shopping, eating out, spending time with friends and family, day’s and evening’s out at various venues and now more than anything it would be enjoying time with my son and wife.
Biggest achievement in or outside of work: My biggest achievement is having a son, simple.
